Some of the listed physicians may also be consultants to Conceptus, and in that capacity might receive consulting fees from Conceptus, and some might be purchasers of Conceptus products. Physicians may be removed from the list at their or Conceptus' request, and the only restriction that would exclude a physician from being on the list is a lack of training on the Essure procedure.
